Step Outside
the Everyday
Falcons Wings Residentials take young people out of their normal environment and into something entirely different. A place where they explore new landscapes, adapt to the unexpected, communicate under pressure, overcome real challenges and work together to get the job done.
This is not simply a school trip. It is a journey designed to create memorable experiences while helping young people discover what they are really capable of.

Five Stages. One Transformation.
Every residential is built around the same progression, from the first step into unfamiliar ground to the moment they return home changed.
Explore
Experience new environments and step outside everyday routines.
Challenge
Take on physical, practical and problem-solving challenges.
Work Together
Develop teamwork, communication and leadership through situations where they genuinely matter.
Learn Real Skills
Build practical skills such as navigation, first aid awareness, campcraft, planning and decision-making.
Grow
Return more confident, independent and capable.
Learn. Lead. Grow.

No Two Journeys Are the Same
Every expedition is shaped by age, location, duration and objectives. This is a taste of what a Falcons Wings residential can hold.
Every expedition can be different depending on age, location, duration and objectives. We design each journey around the group in front of us.
More Than a Story to Tell
The real value of a residential is not measured in kilometres covered. It is in what young people carry home, and what they become after.
Confidence
A belief in their own voice and their ability to step up when it matters.
Independence
The freedom of looking after themselves and making real decisions away from home.
Resilience
Knowing they can keep going when the pack gets heavy or the weather turns.
Leadership
Real experience of guiding a team through uncertainty.
Teamwork
An understanding that the group succeeds or struggles together.
Communication
Learning to be clear, to listen and to be heard.
Problem Solving
Thinking on their feet when the plan meets the real world.
Practical Life Skills
Navigation, campcraft, first aid awareness and decision-making they will use again.
Stronger Friendships
Bonds built through shared challenge that last well beyond the expedition.
Lasting Memories
Stories they will tell for years, and a sense of pride they carry with them.

Join the Next
Falcons Wings Expedition
You don't need to wait for your school to organise a residential. Register your interest in our next open Falcons Wings expedition and join other young people from across the UAE for an unforgettable experience.
Registering interest does not require payment and does not commit the family to attending. Once we have enough interest to run the next expedition, Falcons Wings will contact registered families with everything they need to decide.

Completing DofE? We Can Support That Too.
A Falcons Wings expedition stands on its own as an exceptional experience. For students completing DofE, the same experience can also be structured to support their Award requirements where appropriate.
As certified Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey Assessors, we can support qualifying Adventurous Journeys for Bronze, Silver and Gold participants.
2 days / 1 overnight
A self-sufficient journey of at least 2 days and 1 night, covering a minimum of 24km. Students plan their route, navigate independently and camp overnight.
3 days / 2 overnights
A more demanding journey requiring greater planning and resilience. Students cover at least 32km over 3 days, demonstrating navigation, teamwork and problem-solving.
4 days / 3 overnights
The most challenging level: a 50km+ self-sufficient expedition requiring meticulous planning, strong leadership and physical and mental endurance.
We work closely with your school's Duke of Edinburgh coordinator to ensure full compliance with Award requirements, completing all required assessment documentation so there is no additional admin burden on your school.
Safety and Delivery
Every expedition is planned and run by people who do this for a living. We hold the details so families and schools can focus on the experience.
